A Faulty Amplifier
An audio amplifier which had ceased to function was brought into the Repair Cafe. One of our Electronic Engineer volunteers, Ahmed, repaired it by locating a faulty biasing transistor. Upon replacement of this component, the amplifier was brought back to life!
New Life for a Broken Chair
The Repair Process:
This chair was originally broken, with damaged webbing, degraded foam and no bulk to the seat, making it very uncomfortable to sit on. However, through the skilled hands of our repair experts, it was carefully restored. Check out the step-by-step process in the photos on the left!
